Privacy Policy

Overview

SpoolWorx is an independently developed 3D printing inventory companion built in the United States. It follows a local-first architecture: your data stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to enable future cloud sync features.

Information We Collect

As of today, SpoolWorx collects no personal information from users.

• • App data: All models, spools, printers and related metadata are stored locally in your browser via localStorage. This data is never transmitted to SpoolWorx servers.
• • No cookies: SpoolWorx currently sets no cookies because there is no login system yet.
• • No tracking or marketing analytics: No Google Analytics, no profile tracking, no advertising identifiers.
• • Cloudflare edge logs: The hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically collects standard HTTP request data such as IP address, browser type, security events and request timing. This data is used only for infrastructure, security and reliability, and is not used to profile users.

Future Account Features

When user accounts launch, SpoolWorx will collect only the minimum data required to operate the service.

• • Email address (for login and notifications)
• • Hashed password (never stored in plain text)
• • Optional sync data (files required for cloud sync)

No behavioral analytics, no marketing profiles, and no selling or sharing user data.

Local-First Design

SpoolWorx is intentionally designed so that you can use it completely offline. All features available today work with data that never leaves your device.

When cloud sync becomes available, it will remain optional. You will always be able to use SpoolWorx entirely offline if you prefer.

Cloud Sync (Future)

SpoolWorx Pro will introduce optional cloud features such as:

• • Encrypted cloud backups
• • Cross-device sync
• • Team/shared inventories

These features operate only if you choose to enable them. Local-only users will not send any data to SpoolWorx servers.

Third-Party Services

SpoolWorx uses Cloudflare for hosting, security and performance. Cloudflare may process limited technical data (like IP addresses) as part of normal operation.

No other third-party services receive any user data.

Your Data Rights

You always have the right to:

• • Export your data (local or cloud)
• • Delete your account (when accounts exist)
• • Request deletion of any cloud-stored data

Local-only usage stores everything on your device — nothing is stored by SpoolWorx.
